Frequently Asked Questions
How does JauMemory protect my data?
Your memory content is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM using a key unique to your account, and all traffic runs over TLS. In the database, row-level security means one user's queries can never return another user's rows. See the Security page for the full picture.
Can I use JauMemory with multiple AI assistants?
Yes! JauMemory works with Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, Cline, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot, and ChatGPT. Store a memory in one tool and recall it from any other; that cross-tool memory is the whole point.
Do I need to manage an encryption key or password?
No. Onboarding is passwordless: run the MCP server, ask your AI to log in, and approve the login in your browser. No API key or password is ever pasted into a chat. Encryption keys are managed server-side per account.
How much can I store?
Quotas depend on your plan; see Pricing for the current limits on memories per month, requests per minute, collections, and agents. During the beta, all accounts are free.
Can I delete or export my data?
Yes. You can delete individual memories or your whole account, and you can export your data at any time (GDPR-style data export). Deleted memories are soft-deleted first, then permanently removed.
How do I get access?
JauMemory is in invite-only beta. Request an invite and we'll email you when your account is approved. If you already have an invite code, sign up at mem.jau.app/signup.
