Is the beta really free?

Yes. Beta users get full access to the whole platform at no cost. There is no billing system yet, so nothing can be purchased even if you wanted to.

When do paid plans start?

When billing goes live at launch. We don't have a fixed date. Beta users will be told well in advance, and nothing changes for you until then.

What happens to my memories if I don't upgrade?

Your existing memories and collections are retained. Plan limits apply to new writes: creating memories, collections, and agents going forward.

Is my data encrypted?

Yes. Memories are encrypted at rest with per-user AES-256 keys, TLS protects everything in transit, and row-level security isolates each user's data in the database.
